Nokia Smartphone Launch Confirmed At MWC 2017

Nokia made a small splash at MWC 2017 with the Nokia 5, a budget smartphone with an expensive-looking full-metal body. The handset will be available in four different colours: silver, copper, matte black and, in a stylish addition, tempered blue. We say available, but the Nokia 5 has yet to receive an official UK release date.

Nokia Smartphone Launch Confirmed At MWC 2017

The new report came from China. As per this report from DigiTimes, HMD is indeed working on 4 Nokia Android smartphones. These smartphone are reportedly coming in Q2 and Q3 of 2017. Notable thing here is that LG may be one of the suppliers for display of all Nokia Android Phones.

HMD Global which is manufacturing Nokia Smartphone is expected to announce its first Nokia-branded smartphones at Mobile World Congress in February 2017. It is possible that they will announce one of those high end specification device and Nokia D1C. The high end specification device might be the much rumored Nokia Edge. However things could change, since its just a rumor.

But we believe that Nokia D1C and Nokia E1 will be the first ever Nokia Android Phones to come from HMD. These are the mid range devices and may be unveiled at MWC 2017. There is no pricing details about any of the smartphone. Keep an eye on Windows Latest for more details.

Sony is well known for its imaging sensors that can be found in quite a few premium smartphones. At the MWC 2017, Sony showcased its latest Triple Stacked CMOS sensor implemented in its powerful flagship phone, the Xperia XZ Premium.

Nokia is back to stir the smartphone space again. After unveiling the Nokia 6 Android phone last month, the smartphone pioneer is all geared up to unveil a range of other devices at the Mobile World Congress 2017.

If the earlier rumors are to be believed, Nokia together with HMD will announce five new N-series phones which include N70, N80, N90, N91, and N92. However, fresh reports suggest that the first N-series phone that the smartphone vendor might announce could be Nokia N95. Well, it should be taken with a pinch of salt, as Nokia hasn't confirmed any of it.

Well, about the launch date, the latest rumors are confirming that Nokia N-series phones can be unveiled at the MWC 2017 event. However, if not all, at least the Nokia N95 might make its public appearance.
